  Have been many times over the last 7 years. It is a wonderful Cinema. No screaming children no pop corn all over the place. Very comfortable feeling to walk into the cinema.

  The owner can be a little bit unfriendly, but otherwise it's definitely the nicest cinema in Townsville (particularly the opera-themed cinema). Make sure you bring some cash too or you'll be stung using the ATM with a $2.50 charge.

  This is our favourite cinema in Townsville. It has an old world charm with comfortable seats. You never have to queue and there is plenty of parking. Choc top ice creams only $3.50. Shows all the movies for adults!

  The owner of the place sits at the front desk on facebook and wont even look at you while serving you. My card got jammed in one of their ancient ATM's (since they don't allow EFTPOS), I approached the front desk and let them know that the machine jammed and their reply was to throw up their hands and say "Uh, I don't know how they work. Just pull at it." and then continued reading something on their phone. Also, a weird little sidenote, if your shirt doesn't have sleeves, you're not allowed into the cinema. ALSO, the owner walks into the actual movie screening and sits in the audience looking at everyone for 5-10 minutes at a time before leaving, it's uncomfortable, the manager/owner is an old feeble skeleton that can barely operate the front desk with his garbage attitude and the rest of the staff seem to have the experience of a common housecat in terms of customer service.
